He spent time in his early adulthood teaching elderly people in the village of the Ifugao Tribe to read and write the Bible. He also taught them life skills in exchange for learning the village culture. Wow, what an experience!
In 2000, at the age of 40, he came to America with his wife, Fely, and their three children following a job opportunity. They have found a wonderful life here, and he is grateful for all the adventures God has had for him and the many that are still to come!
When I asked him for some words of wisdom, this is what he shared:
Make good use of your time and live every moment to the fullest. Embrace diversity with an open mind, and seek the unknown!
